Résonances is a choir which appeals to all persons that are keen on music whether they are experienced singers or beginners

The choir was founded in May 2005. Since then, it has grown larger and larger welcoming members coming from Sarreguemines and the area around it. The choir - composed of soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor and low voices - is often accompanied by an instrumental ensemble of violons, cellos, double bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, piano and percussions.

Patrick HUBER is the choirmaster

He is also a piano and organ accompanist. He has become a composer and arranger out of passion. His newly harmonized negro spirituals are published at EuroChoral. Other free musical works, whether vocal or instrumental, are published in Germany by Copy-us

Our aim is “to stir people’s soul and heart”
Our original repertoire focusing on African Negro Spirituals and songs from different countries makes us stand out against traditional choirs. Its originality lies in an atypical choice of songs and the perfect harmonization and orchestration of our selected works. Our wide range of negro-spirituals and gospels was selected of the jazzistic quality of the musical arrangements. We are keen on African songs accompagnied by percussion instruments. We also sing traditional European, Japanese and South American songs. Our musical repertory even includes Broadway melodies, extracts from musicals, jazz and film scores. Our choirmaster's compositions and arrangements are part of our concerts so are Christmas songs from all over the world.
